PlasticXchange - Help Mama Bali to clean up

I recently joined the PlasticXchange in Bali as a volunteer the project.

The non profit organization founded by the balinese Made I Janur is introducing amazing Idea and

great solution for one of the most urgent problems here in paradise and worldwide.

Plastic is flooding our oceans and doesn't degrade organically. It's here to stay forever and

we're facing a plastic pandemic in our nature.

Here in Bali we see every rainy season beaches covered in plastic waste and this is only the peak of the iceberg.

90% of the waste comes from inland though the rivers into the ocean.

Next to river barriers and ocean cleanup projects there is one important angel to target.

Give Plastic waste a small value,

so people are not dumping it and getting motivated to collect it at home and out of nature.

Indonesia has one of the biggest populations.

Many people lost their jobs in tourism due to the covid pandemic and don't know where to live from.

The PlasticXchange is offering the people a system where they get

RICE for PLASTIC and other waste.

This system started in March 2020 already works successful in over 200 Villages and gives people to possibility

to earn some extra food for doing good and a life in dignity.

How the cycle of collection works so far.

Right now I am working with my ex colleague from Deloitte Consulting, Marius Schulz and our common friends

on the new Website and a Viral Campaign for the NGO.

Our Goal is to make the concept known worldwide and bring it from bali to other

islands too and provide education about waste disposal.

We're working on closing the circle by recycling the plastic into products we sell

and get corporates on board for regular donations to reduce their impact.

For now WE NEED YOUR HELP - If you like the idea, please don't hesitate to support

us with your donation. Every dollar counts!
